IvySys Technologies, LLC is a world-class leader in networked intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) system solutions and consulting services with primary application to national security critical challenges. Located in Arlington, Virginia, IvySys is seeking to hire Algorithm Software Developers to further our world class technology leadership in SIGINT, MASINT, wireless communications and networking, and tagging, tracking, and locating (TTL) technologies for US Government and commercial R&D organizations.

Position Description:

Design, development, and test advanced signal processing software algorithms for signal(s)-exploitation applications; including the implementation of novel weak-signal and signature detection algorithms in MATLAB and C++ in support of real-time ISR system activities. Assist with the documentation of preliminary and detailed software designs. Interface regularly with other expert DSP algorithm developers to efficiently transition Matlab algorithms into C++ and/or JAVA for real-time performance.

Qualifications:

Education: M.S. in electrical/computer engineering or computer science.

Required Experience:

• Highly desirable candidates will have a minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience developing real-time DSP software applications in MATLAB, C/C++ and/or JAVA.
• Knowledge of advanced digital signal processing and wireless communications algorithms.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced software engineering techniques, theories, precepts, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a research and development client-centric environment; including the ability to plan and coordinate work and resources.
• Excellent presentation and report/proposal writing skills coupled with superior organizational skills.
